Welcome!

In a world that is uncertain, it is nice to have support in our journey in life. We hope to give support to all who enter here and those who may not.  We are here because of a loving God who said we don’t have to live in fear, stress, or pain.  WE have a Savior.  We are so glad you are here to explore this God along with us. We all have different journeys, however one thing is certain, the God of heaven is a God of love. Therefore, the Simi Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to be a place of refuge, safety and support for all who journey this life.  You are welcome here.  We are a Christian church in Simi Valley, California. We meet each Saturday morning to worship together, and we'd love for you to join us for a message & music service, exploring more about this loving God through the Bible, or come have fun and fellowship with church family event. All are welcome. Jesus said, everyone has a seat at the table.  We do not want to exclude but embrace all who want to know a wonderful Savior.

About Seventh-day Adventists

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a prominent Protestant denomination with approximately 19 million members globally, including over one million in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church endeavors to elevate the quality of life for individuals worldwide and proclaim the imminent return of a benevolent and compassionate Savior, Jesus Christ.

Adventists adhere to the doctrine of the Trinity, positing that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit constitute a unified God. Jesus, the Son, descended upon Earth as an infant in Bethlehem and lived a life characterized by unwavering selflessness, love, and compassion, aligning his actions with the will of the Father.

To discern the essence of God, one can examine the life of Jesus. His unwavering love and willingness to sacrifice his life for the sake of others exemplify the divine nature. He extends his embrace to all, inviting them to partake in his divine presence. On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead, triumphantly demonstrating the path to love that mirrors his own.

Upon his ascension to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus entrusted the Holy Spirit with the roles of Teacher, Comforter, and Counselor. He reaffirmed his intention to return to Earth a second time to culminate his plan of salvation and usher his followers to the celestial realm. Adventists eagerly anticipate this future event.

Adventists believe that their benevolent God is not distant but rather a God who willingly sacrifices himself to rescue humanity. He refrains from coercion yet extends an invitation to all to find a loving way to live their life. He intends to elevate the quality of human life to a state of abundant love, purpose, and destiny. The manner in which we conduct ourselves, engage in our daily activities, communicate with others, think critically, treat each other with kindness, and care for the environment all serve as avenues through which we can disseminate His compassionate love without any ulterior motives. This is an integral aspect of His divine plan. Our families, our children, our occupations, our talents, our financial resources, and our time all hold significance for Him, and we offer them to Him with unwavering devotion.
