Welcome to the Simi Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church in Simi Valley, California.
The Simi Valley Adventist community is a family committed to one ideal above all others: to love God with our entire heart, soul, and mind… then to love our neighbor too!
We are on a beautiful journey that has impacted us individually by love. Our personal journeys have had failure, brokenness, stress, loss, and yet we have all been touched in our unique stories by an unfathomable, unselfish love that has rocked our world to love this God and want to love others as we have been loved. We invite you to join us in this journey of love.
In our community, we share our testimonies, we preach, pray, and seek to live more like the love we have encountered in our daily life. This impacts even our youngest little ones as they learn of this unselfish love as they grow. We explore and grow deeper in our love for God.
It is this that makes a faith community wonderful because we learn to support each other in our brokenness and learn together to love more. This impacts all of us. From our little ones to our elderly wise ones. We have been touched deeply by a radical love. You are invited to explore, feel, and experience this life-changing love. We are eager to love a new friend like you.
Join Us on Saturdays: “Sabbath” or “Sábado” in Spanish. This is the term Adventists use for Saturday as a special day set aside to deepen our understanding of God and express gratitude for His life changing work in our personal stories. It is the day on which Jesus dedicated His life to attending synagogue.
Sabbath is an integral part of the transformative process that transforms flawed individuals into compassionate individuals who have grappled with loss of love, distrust, and the inherent pain of our current world. God’s unconditional love awakens within us a profound desire to emulate His character of unselfish love. We aspire to love God with the same unconditional love that Jesus demonstrated and to extend that same love to others. We are not perfect however, we are on a journey of spiritual growth and learning under the guidance of a compassionate God.
